Lake Manassas Health & Rehabilitation Center opens its doors to the Gainesville community and beyond. Hundreds of people attending the Grand Opening Celebration on October 19, 2017 were treated to a tour of the $22 million facility that will bring a new standard of post-acute care to the area.
Its 120-private rooms, spacious design, restaurant style dining, specialized indoor mobility gym, and LifeWorks Rehab gym offer an ideal setting for patients to rehabilitate back to health. The facility also features high-tech equipment unlike anything currently in the market. For example, the AlterG anti-gravity treadmill was designed by NASA. It uses advanced unweighting technology that provides support, safety, and stability for patients during rehabilitation.
Also in the gym, patients will find interactive CyberCycles where they can compete with people from around the world or even at other MFA centers. There are other interactive machines as well including strength and cardiovascular training equipment.
In addition to world-class rehabilitation services and amenities, Lake Manassas Health & Rehabilitation Center is bringing nearly 120 full and part-time jobs in nursing, therapy, administration, management, and more to the area. Most are highly-paid and highly-skilled professional positions.
Attendees of the Thursday night celebration included Majority Whip and 50th District Delegate Jackson Miller, and Prince William County Prosecutor Paul Elbert.
