It was the kindness of other nurses that inspired her to become one.

Sixteen years ago, I gave birth to my twin daughters. I remember how wonderful the nurses were. They were so awesome and so good to me. It was this experience that made me realize you can make people feel good, despite their physical pain. It made me realize that I wanted to go into nursing.

I began my nursing career at a local hospital, caring for patients in the ICU. But I really wanted a different experience in long-term care - one that MFA was able to offer me. I now have the opportunity to really get to know my patients. I love the staff here and I love the people I help - I'm here to stay!

"I definitely enjoy interacting with management. You're just not able to do that at a hospital. At MFA, you work hand-in-hand with your management team and they are so helpful."
